This is my testimony

James 5:15 — “And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up.”

I want to share my testimony of being healed. For most of my life, I was deathly allergic to all seafood both fish and shellfish. My allergy was so severe it would cause anaphylaxis and had a huge impact on my day-to-day life. For over 20 years, I lived with this condition, and it was incredibly limiting. My family and I would often pray for a miracle.

Allergists repeatedly told me it was extremely rare or nearly impossible for an allergy this severe to ever go away. But despite what they said, I always believed that healing was possible and in 2023, I was healed. I no longer have allergies.
I am deeply thankful to God for this blessing. Since then, I’ve taken full advantage of this opportunity to try new foods and eating at restaurants I could never safely enjoy before. I’ve wanted to share this part of my story because I hope it encourages others to keep praying and to believe in God’s healing power and miracles.

This healing is also the origin of my username. Before I started streaming, I used to game under the name “AllergicToShrimp” as a joke. My allergy was so intense that eating out was nearly impossible, and humor became my coping mechanism. Joking about it made the situation feel a little lighter.

When I found out I was no longer allergic, I had a bit of an identity crisis. “AllergicToShrimp” had become such a big part of me, but I knew I still wanted this story to live on. So, I changed my name to “NotAllergicToShrimp.” It’s silly, but it always sparks conversation, and I love sharing how I was healed. It’s a part of who I am and a reminder of what God has done in my life.

Philippians 4:13 — "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me"

For over eight years, I lived with a rare spinal condition (Syringomyelia) that caused constant pain, neuropathy, loss of mobility, depression, anxiety, and isolation. I had one in my thoracic spine and another in my cervical spine.

Simple daily tasks were difficult and exhausting, I withdrew from my fmaily and friendships, and I repeatedly stepped away from school while learning how to survive in a body that no longer worked the way it once did.

Frequent MRIs monitored syrinxes in my spine, along with MRA/CT/EMG testing. I frequently had numbness, constant pain, neuropathy, and had to relearn how to walk multiple times. I had to relearn what once came naturally., simple tasks like getting out of bed in the morning or getting dressed were painful and difficult.

Though told my condition “wasn’t that bad,” the physical and emotional toll was overwhelming. My faith wavered for years, and even though I was healed of my allergies I still kept believing in what the doctors said about my condition and how it wouldn’t just go away.

After traveling and visiting the Vatican in 2024, I felt called to trust God and pray for healing. I kept praying and kept my faith. In January 2025, after stroke-like symptoms, job loss, and uncertainty, I chose faith over fear. Despite unanswered medical questions, I continued praying. Slowly, my pain diminished. By mid-2025, I realized I had been healed—physically, mentally, emotinally, and spiritually. I share this testimony to give glory to God and encourage others to trust His timing, hold onto faith, and believe in miracles! The bible verse that got me though the hardest times and still does is Philippians 4:13.

I have done a lot of things in my life that i’m not proud of and has taken me away from my faith, but i’m so glad that Jesus called me back to him. I am not sure why I was chosen but I thank God that I am, not only for my own healing and regaining my trust and faith in God but so that my testomy can help others and show others to not give up and miracles are possible. Sometimes it feels like it’s easier to give up, then it is to keep your faith and trust in the lord but if you keep your faith you will be rewarded. "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight." — Proverbs 3:5-6
